Terms of Service
Vocanti, by Blackpebble Ltd. Last updated 26 July 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and Blackpebble Ltd (“we”) for using Vocanti. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
Who we are
Blackpebble Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Registered company number and registered office: TO CONFIRM before launch. Contact us at blckddr55@proton.me.
What Vocanti does
You record a conversation, and we produce a transcript, scores against communication skills you chose, written feedback, and a coach you can ask about it.
The feedback is generated by an AI model. It is an opinion for you to weigh, not a professional assessment, and it will sometimes be wrong. Do not rely on it for decisions about anyone's employment, and do not use it to evaluate other people. Vocanti scores you.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use Vocanti.
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
- An account is for one person. Do not share it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Recording other people
This is the most important obligation in these terms, and it is yours rather than ours.
- You must tell everyone in a conversation that you are recording it, and get whatever consent the law where you and they are requires. In some countries and US states recording without everyone's consent is a criminal offence.
- Only record conversations you are genuinely part of. Vocanti is not for surveillance, and not for recording people you are not talking to.
- Do not record anything you are barred from recording, whether by law, by your employer, or by an agreement you have made.
- If someone in one of your recordings complains to us, we may remove that recording without notice.
You are responsible for meeting these obligations, and for any claim arising from a recording you made.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or use Vocanti to harass, intimidate, or spy on anyone.
- Upload audio you have no right to upload.
- Resell Vocanti, or pass its output off as your own product.
- Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits and quotas.
- Use automated means to extract data from the service.
Free and paid plans
The free plan includes five recordings of up to 45 minutes each, within 14 days of signing up, and ten coach messages a day, with no card required. Vocanti Pro gives you 12 hours of analysed conversation a month, up to 90 minutes in a single recording, and 400 coach messages a month. Limits can change, and if we reduce them we will tell you first.
Paying
Pro is £19 a month including VAT, billed in advance through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until cancelled. We never see your card details.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Settings, through Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and are not billed again.
Refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital subscription. By starting to use Pro straight away you ask us to begin the service within that period and accept that the right to cancel ends once it is fully performed. Outside that, payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise, though if something has gone genuinely wrong, write to us and we will sort it out.
Price changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an active subscription.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, and coaching history are yours. You give us the licence we need to run the service for you: to store your audio, transcribe it, analyse it, and produce your feedback, including through the processors named in the Privacy Policy. That licence exists for your benefit and ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your recordings to train general-purpose AI models.
Availability
We aim to keep Vocanti running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice and a way to export or delete your data.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings, which erases your data and cancels any subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: Vocanti is provided as it is; we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or indirect losses; and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
We are not liable for consequences of a recording you made, including a failure to get the consent required where you are.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use Vocanti afterwards means you accept it. If you do not, cancel and delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.
